The Scottsdale Swim Coaches will be offering lessons each week starting June 15th. Lesson sign ups for all Scottsdale Swim Team members will begin on Tuesday June 9th at 3:45. With the exception of the week of the 11th, sign-ups will take place on Tuesday mornings for the following week for seven weeks during the season. The sign up dates are as follows: 6/16, 6/23, 7/7, 7/14, 7/21, and 7/28. The sign-up sheets will be placed in a Coaches Lessons binder in the Scottsdale office and will be available at 7:30 a.m. on each of the above dates. Lessons will be available on a first come first serve basis. Coaches are offering lessons in the following format and you are welcome to sign up for lessons as follows:

Although the coaches are independent contractors, the Scottsdale Swim Team Board has specific guidelines that they would like the coaches to adhere to. You may not sign up for a lesson with the same coach two weeks in a row. The exception to this rule is for Scott’s Friday only sessions.

You may sign up only your children for lessons, there are no exceptions. Sign ups will be one week at a time, for the following week only. In signing up your child, you are agreeing to be available to take a lesson between the times of 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Lesson assignments will be posted via the website on or before Sunday. Swimmers will be scheduled into time slots that will facilitate optimum pool space and assignments will be final. Requests for time slots will not be taken. Lesson fees are due in advance so please bring a checkbook. Make checks out to the instructor you sign up for. Three alternate slots will be available and if you cancel, your check will be returned if your space is filled (checks are not necessary for alternates until you are chosen).
